A translation for Chelsea.
“Where be that blackbird to? I know where ‘e be!”
Where could that blackbird possibly be, oh I just spotted him.
” ‘e be up yon wurzel tree, And I be a’ter ‘e!”
He was located in that wurzel tree over there and I’m off to catch him
“And ‘e sees I, And I sees ‘e, buggered if I don’t get im”
He spots me but I’ve already located him & he knows that I intend to catch him.
“With a girt big stick, I’ll knock im down, Blackbird! I’ll ‘ave ‘e !”
With this large wooden stick I shall give him a good whack to the floor, I will most certainly catch you, blackbird.
